Wayward Strand, an emotional and sympathetic narrative is a result of many threads. It is set inside an airborne hospital located in Australia during the during the 1970s.
Wayward Strand lets you take on the role of Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent girl who visits the hospital for her first time. The game will explore his history, the ship’s people, and the relationships between them during the following three days.
After arriving, she is able to visit the rooms of the ship’s odd and charming residents. She can choose whom she would like to spend her time with, and learn about them. Staff members can serve as shadows and look around, or you could explore the vessel to learn about its dark past.
Residents of the hospital include an assortment of characters – some charming, some odd, others rude, each one with his own set of desires dreams, ambitions and goals. The residents do what they want, independent from the persona of their character.
In the three days Casey spends aboard the ship, the characters around her have their own lives to tell as stories she will study. The characters move and act in their own way, on their own timeline sharing stories with one other, opinions; arguing; joking; gossiping – or engaging in conversation with Casey whenever she stops to visit.
Casey will look into her airship’s numerous stories to see how her actions create an impact on them.
